The International Panel on Climate Change recently released its latest report on climate change.
A journalism think tank and research Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism recently published a study on Climate Change and the Media. The study covered the period 2007 to 2012 and analyzed 350 articles published in three newspapers in six different countries (the United Kingdom, France, Australia, India, Norway and the USA). The analysts found what they call a “disaster narrative” in 82% of the articles in the sample. There is an executive summary here. The full report is in a book entitled Climate Change in the Media: Reporting Risk and Uncertainty, written by James Painter.
