Bad News for News Organizations: Young people aren't growing into heavy Consumers

It will come as no surprise that I am and have always been a news junkie. I grew up with current affairs discussions around the dinner table. The habit has stayed with me. Apparently, that isn't the case for younger generations. A recent Pew Research study is showing that not only is news consumption down among GenXers (33-47 years old) and Millenials (18-31 years old), they don’t enjoy it very much. Go figure.
