Name Your Colour!

As the autumn leaves turn their array of colors, consider this -- according to an article in The Conversation, we are capable of seeing millions of distinct colors, but our language ability limits naming them - and scientists now have a theory why. I wonder if they probed the brains of the people who work at Crayola. I still smile remembering the delight of those enormous boxes of new crayons with so many different names for blue - Languages don’t all have the same number of terms for colors – scientists have a new theory why.
